Hello everyone!
My name is Matthew Hefti. I am a 25 year old aspiring firefighter in the Fire Protection Program at WTC. I plan to graduate in two years (2012). I've lived in La Crosse, WI my whole life, but I was born in Marshfield, WI (no idea where that is). I work at your friendly hardware store that you all know a Menards. I have worked there for 4 1/2 years and enjoy working there most of the time! I work in the floor coverings department. That means that I get the pleasure of helping people figure out how to properly install floor coverings, and other times, they just don't get it (usually Iowa people)! When I'm not at work or school, you can usually find me playing basketball, working out, on the river, or my favorite place - the library. No, it's not the local watering-hole downtown call "The Library," it's the nice, sometimes smelly place where I do all my homework! I take my schooling very serious, but life outside of school is anything for serious. I am a person who will crack a joke to lighten a mood, do something no one expects just to get a laugh, and always trying to find new ideas to satisfy my need for laughter, sometimes not the brightest ideas I've had. Anyways, now that you know who I am, and what I'm about. I will be blogging about my crazy life for your entertainment! Enjoy!
